Dr. Ralph Schicha

DR. RALPH SCHICHA

Dr. Ralph Schicha, psychologist and actor, has worked for 10 years as a trainer, seminar leader, executive coach and consultant in the areas of presentation- and media-training and creative self-management. He leads seminars as a trainer for, among others, Wrigleys, Bayerische Rundfunk, RWE, as well as giving presentations and individual coaching to top managers and academics.

He is also an actor well known in domestic and foreign film, television and theater productions (with directors like Margarethe von Trotta, Franco Rossi, and Edouard Molinaro, among others), and as a voice for documentaries, lip synching, audio books and audio plays. He began his artistic career as a co-founder of the cabaret “KEKK” in Munich and as a singer-songwriter of French ballads (recording with, among others, RCA).

He has worked with the Change Group Germany since 2005 and is currently developing with a group of partners a service portfolio in the area of executive coaching for top managers.

Dr. Schicha completed his studies in psychology, philosophy and sociology in Freiburg, Munich and Stanford with a Bachelors and a Ph.D. His book “Angst vor Freiheit und Risiko” (“Fear of Freedom and Risk”) was published by Campus-Verlag. He got his training in hypnotherapy with, among others, Professor Paul Watzlawick of the Mental Research Institute (MRI) at Stanford.

Dr. Schicha has special competency in the areas of presentation and media effectiveness, with a focus on charisma and presence, voice and speech techniques, and realization of own potential and vision.
