uwe-schurichtDr. Schuricht, born 1959, studied law in Germany and New Zealand and then went on to complete his studies with a doctorate, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and passed the Bar to practice law in Germany and France.

Uwe Schuricht began his career as a lawyer in the Paris offices of New York law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. He then worked as in-house counsel for Bertelsmann AG. Later, he took on a number of executive management mandates for both German and international investors. In the late 90s, Dr. Schuricht founded an executive consulting company in Berlin. He brings 15 years of human resources experience to the table, including work as a consultant at Egon Zehnder International and as Executive HR Manager at Axel Springer AG. In spring 2003, he founded CHANGE GROUP.

Dr. Schuricht primarily provides his human resources consulting services to the media industry. He is regarded as a recruitment specialist in (digital) marketing, (cross-media) sales and (general) management for newspaper and magazine publishers, and for Internet and e-commerce companies.

With his executive-level experience and broad network, Dr. Schuricht usually solves even the toughest cases within the first three months. CHANGE GROUP clients appreciate his creative and pragmatic approach. Managers value his outside-the-box suggestions, which often lead to successful, long-term solutions.

As a coach, Dr. Schuricht consults the CEOs, boards and managing partners of globally operating companies and service providers. A lecturer and associate professor, he talks and teaches on leadership, coaching and human resources development for Freie Universität Berlin and for the German Association of Communication Agencies (GWA). Dr. Schuricht prefers coffee with lots of milk.
